In 2005 we launched our Kansas Wildlife and Natural Heritage Trails web site with the goal of giving residents and visitors information highlighting the birds, geology, prairie communities, outdoor recreational opportunities, and natural beauty that make our state a great place to explore.

AOK Ornithological and Natural History Library

Audubon of Kansas manages a diverse collection of historical and comtemporary books relating to birds, flora and fauna. The majority of our collection has been graciously donated to AOK to preserve and make available for AOK members and other interested birders, students and vistors.

Menninger Collection

Dr. Walter Menninger donated his private collection of bird books to Audubon of Kansas in 2002. We are proud to have these informative books, some quite rare and historical, available in our Ornithological and Natural History Library.

Glazier Collection

Dr. Robert Glazier donated his private collection of bird books to Audubon of Kansas in 2003. We appreciate Dr. Glazier thinking of Audubon of Kansas' Ornithological and Natural History Library to house his precious books.
